In chapters 1-3 Pip can be described as a young boy that happens to be an orphan living with his sister and her husband. I see Pip as helpful because he brings food and a file to a convict. Also, he is trustworthy because he fulfilled his promise.By reading the 1st chapter Pip could be decribed as brave to be around not 1 but to convicts that have escaped tot eh marsh.
